The website of Menasim (Non-Profit Organization No. 580823193) (hereinafter: “the Association”, “we”, or “our”) is operated and managed by Menasim. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and operate in accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law (including Amendment 13), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and applicable international privacy standards.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways:

  1. Technical information (via Cookies):

    • The site uses Wix Analytics, which may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and general usage statistics.

  2. Information voluntarily provided by users (Google Forms):

    • Volunteers and individuals interested in the Association’s activities may submit a Google Form to register. These forms may include personal details such as full name, email address, phone number, and message content.

    • This information is provided voluntarily and is used solely for contact, registration for activities, or managing volunteer participation.

2. Purpose of Use

  • Contact details submitted via forms are used only for responding to inquiries, managing volunteers, and coordinating the Association’s activities.

  • Cookie data is used for traffic analysis, website performance, and improving user experience.

  • No personal data is used for marketing purposes without explicit user consent.

3. Cookies

  • Cookies are small files stored on your device.

  • We use cookies only for analytics purposes (Wix Analytics).

  • You may choose to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Declining cookies may affect some site features.

4. Legal Basis

The processing of information is conducted in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, the Privacy Protection Law, and the GDPR, as applicable to the Association’s activities.

5. Sharing Information with Third Parties

  • We do not sell or transfer personal information to third parties for commercial purposes.

  • Data may be processed by Wix.com Ltd. (hosting and analytics services) and Google LLC (Google Forms and Google Drive).

  • Information may be disclosed to authorized authorities if required by law.

6. Data Retention

  • Volunteer registration details submitted via Google Forms are stored in the Association’s Google Drive.

  • The retention period of information is determined by the Association’s operational needs and legal requirements. If a user requests deletion of their data, the Association will review and act on the request in accordance with applicable laws.

  • Analytics data (IP addresses, usage statistics) are retained according to Wix’s policies.

7. User Rights

Users have the right to:

  • Access the personal information collected about them.

  • Request correction or deletion of their information.

  • Withdraw consent for the use of non-essential cookies.

8. Data Security

The site is hosted on Wix, which provides SSL encryption and built-in security features.
Volunteer registration is managed through Google Forms, secured by Google’s security systems. While no system is 100% secure, we rely on Wix and Google’s security infrastructure to safeguard user data.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time in response to legal or operational changes. The most recent version will always be published on this page with the updated “Last updated” date.
